Matthew Kipling takes the win! An excellent finish to an excellent race


Davis still has a few seconds gap, but being its broken up. 2 chasing hard behind in front of a fracturing field


Davis Dangling

Ryan Davis is still dangling a few seconds in front of the group. Are they leaving him there? Can they just not catch him?

Davis Breaks!

Ryan Davis has opened up a few second lead over a chasing Charlie Tanfield who himself as a few seconds over the chasing pack.

The leaders have just seen 6 laps to go, and 3 have got a little bit of a break – Matt Kipling, Charlie Tanfield & Ryan Davis. Will they make this gap stick?


Hairpin Could Count?

The riders have to tackle a hairpin bend as they hit the finishing straight – if there are a few riders together at the end positioning on that is going to be key


We are inside the 10 laps to go mark, and everything is starting to get serious!


Overall Sprint Result

The points have been totted up for all of the sprint laps, and the overall winner is Matt Kipling


Sprint 3 Result

Matt Kipling takes this one which he adds to the win he picked up on the first sprint lap. Ryan Davies and Charlie Tanfield followed Matt over the line


Here we go for another sprint lap. First 3 riders across the line get points, and over the course of the night all the points add up to find our sprint competition winner


Pace is getting tough now, and the group is starting to thin a little bit. It’s down to 13 riders now


A few attacks coming

A few riders are giving it a go off the front to test the legs a little. Ben Hetherington is the latest to have a nibble off the front


Good crowds on the streets of Bishop Auckland tonight, and this race has all the makings of a bit of a cracker tonight


Sprint 2 Result

Ben Hethrington takes it from James Moss, Ryan Davis and Matthew Kipling


There goes the whistle, so next time round it will be the second of tonight’s sprints


James Moss leads the group of 15 round this time, and they are lapping at a cool 1 min 15


Everything settling down

This race is starting to settle down now, with a group of around 15 fighting it out at the front of the race


The main race is now underway, and Matt Kipling has just won the first of the nights sprint laps


And that’s it! Mark Donovan takes the overall race win. We’ll work out the age results and let you know!


Coming up to the bell for Mark Donovan – our leader who has lapped almost the entire field!


5 laps to go in the second youth race, which contains categories from U12-U16


And Joel Hurt is our first winner of the night! What a great sprint finish on the last lap!


And the bell sounds on our first race – Under 8s and Under 10s – Matthew White & Joel Hart are away from everyone else. Which one is going to take it?


Our first race is out on circuit, and there are several youth races before the Senior race at 20:00
