Saturday 28th September saw the final event of the Velo29 2013 season, the White Horse Sportive.
It’s our 2nd year of running this event, in 2012 the feedback was that the routes were brilliant and the atmosphere and feel of the event was great but the signage could be better.
We took this onboard in all our 2013 events, more signs were deployed than ever before and what we did worked. I’ve tried to personally speak to all of you at the finish and get your feedback, this year none of you got lost!
350 riders rode this year’s years White Horse which is 25% increase since 2012, we were really pleased with this. Of course we want to continue this growth next year in all our events so have some ideas about new features and how we can build on 2013 to make sure you keep coming back, and hopefully bring your cycling friends.
It’s been a great year for us and we’ve thoroughly meeting and riding with every single one of you. Cycling is everything to us and to share this passion with so many people in all our events throughout the year really has been great.
See you next year and as we say at Velo29, Ride Your Bike!
