Selby 3 Swans, another amazing event in the Velo29 Calendar!
Selby 3 Swans is one of our biggest events in the Sportive calendar with typcially over 600 riders taking part! The routes are fabulous, not too hilly, quite diverse and of course, great fun.
20% of your entry fee is donated to Yorkshire Cancer Research, we hope 2024 will take us to £20,000 and beyond in the years which Velo29 have ran this important event.
We have 3 great routes, this is an event where we see all kinds of riders. From the serious Sportive regular to people new to our events wanting to support the chairty. We see all kinds of bikes, anyone with a bike and helmet are warmly welcomed .
The Short is suitbale for anyone, even those quite new to cycling. We have a lot of people who don’t ride other organised events on the Short. Many people supporting YCR choose this route too.
If you’re looking for a challenge then go for the the 100 mile Long route, it’s usually a fast one with riders exceeding 20mph average.
The Medium is great for riders wanting a shorter day or perhaps youve done some of our shorter routes and fancy pushing on a bit, the flat route is gret for that!
An event the sun always seems to shine on, wonderful routes and a great contribution to an important charity.
Feed stations on all routes, awesome route signage, mechanical and medical support, awesome finishers medal, post ride BBQ and Beer!
