The ALL NEW for 2026 Strade Long Route!

One of the best rides in the 2026 series! A bold statement we know, but we just can’t believe what a gem the New Strade Event is!

We listened to your feedback in 2026 about the road quality of the long and have totally changed it for 2026.

No gravel bikes needed, this is a well paved road!

The first 10km….BANG! By 10km in we’ve climbed to 450m above sea level! Esclusham Mountain is one of the main focal points in Strade. Descend from there to the first feed stop at Llangollen, we hit this at 24km which is early but with one of the biggest climbs of the year in the way, you will not think it’s too early!

Don’t eat too much as you’ll crest The River Dee and then Hore Shoe Pass! If you’ve never ridden up there you must, the views form the hair pin are stunning!

it’s steadily downhill on wonderful roads back to Llangollen for Feed Stop 2. Your brew crew will be waiting with some moral support because the NEW Long Loop sector is TOUGH!

We’ve included Church Hill in the new long, if you don’t know it you soon will and you’ll be talking about it for some time!

All of the new Long is stunning, great quiality roads, hardly a car in sight once we reach Chirk and the views are just wonderful!

At 120km it is a major descent to the final stop at Llangollen which we hit at 125km, say goodbye to the brew crew and enjoy easier roads back to Wrexham and a hard earnt medal, BBQ sausage and beer!

The Long will be worth the effort and whilst you’ll need to bring your climbing game, you’ll cross the line with pride and a buzz from an awesome day on the bike exploring this great new area!

We can’t wait!
