The Medium route enjoys all the memories of the Grand Depart without having to ride over the Buttertubs!

We ride with the long route riders out of Ripon, through the amazing Studley Park and Brimham Rocks before tackling the first major climb of the day Greenhow Hill. It goes on for what seems like forever though the steepest part is at the bottom.

Sticking with the long route we pass the feed at Kilnsey and head to Aysgrath picking up the Tour de France KOM of Kidstones on the way. At Aysgarth we part company with the long route riders. We head to Leyburn and the last high point of the day. The last 35km are all downhill, losing nearly 200m on the way back to Ripon.

It’s a great route and we feel a nice edition to this brilliant Sportive. Relive the memories of the 2014 Grand Depart in Yorkshire with 100’s of riders on these wonderful roads.
