The Monday before the sportive at 6pm, you will receive a ‘Get Ready’ email which contains information about the sportive.
On Tuesday at 10am, you will receive an ‘Act Now’ email which contains the links you need to obtain your rider number and booking reference in order to complete the Pre-Event Questionnaire and Book a Time Slot.
Booking opens from 10am Tuesday until 18:00 Thursday. This is ESSENTIAL to ride.
It is vitally important that you remain subscribed to our emails. However, copies will also be uploaded to our FB page which you do not need a FB account to access.
No entries on the day.

Feel the atmosphere of setting off on one of the most historic Sportives the UK has to offer. The short route is ideal for riders new to Sportives or more experienced riders simply wanting a gentle spin, challenging nonetheless at 50 miles, there aren’t any strenuous climbs.
Sharing the first 18 miles as the other routes, you can take in some small villages and quiet country lanes as we approach Mow Cop. Fear not though, the Short route heads North before ‘enjoying’ the somewhat steep Mow Cop slope!
After 6 miles of a Short Only section we rejoin Medium and Long riders at the busiest feed stop in a Velo29 year, the well stocked Goostry Sports Pavillion. Here the atmosphere is great as we enjoy the fresh sarnies, a hot brew, some tasty fresh cakes an award winning pork pie and as much High5 as you can handle before getting back on the road for the final 25 miles with a steady spin back Crewe Alexandra Football Club.
At the finish we’ll have an awesome medal awaiting, a hot BBQ sausage bun and a chilled can of Erdinger Alkoholfrei.

Parking at the Mornflake Stadium Event HQ is now full. You can still enter to ride the 2026 Cat however you will need to arrange off-site parking.
Anyone who entered before 16th Jan 2026 will be issued a unique parking pass to present on the day.
