From the NEW HQ at Preston FC we enjoy an ALL NEW Long Route.

We now explore this wonderful part of The World in an anti-clockwise direction with what we feel is a better mix of challenge, enjoyment and safety.

From Preston we ride the first 51km with the All Routes riders. We head to Sabden then over Nick O’Pendle the hard way! It’s steep and quite long with the steepest part coming at the top! The descent is a wonderful one with the new Pendleton Feed a dog leg at the bottom, don’t miss it!

After Clithero we head deep into The Forest of Bowland, stunning, lumpy, quiet roads.

We stop at Abbeystead for the first FULL FAT Feed and then head West on to all new roads. This section is less challenging than the old Long Route after Abbeystead. We explore some lovely little roads and villages making this new route a more diverse one.

Back to Abbeystead for another FULL FAT Feed then again we head through The Forest of Bowland back towards Preston.

If youo’ve ridden Lancs before then you need to try this new route. If not then come and explore a stunning part of the World in this great Sportive.
