Departing from Murton to the east of the York, you will head toward the historic city and cross the River Ouse using the Millennium Bridge and not long after cycle past The Knavesmire; York’s famous racecourse before heading onto some stunning country roads in the direction of Leeds.
The Medium route follows the long route right up to Harewood House. Harewood hosted the Grand Depart of the 2014 Tour de France and is spectacular to cycle through. Here we have been granted permission to host a feed station so you can enjoy a bite to eat and a warm drink in the view of the magnificent house. After the feed, you will turn back along the main driveway of Harewood heading towards York once again.
