Velo29-Altura White Horse Sportive
2014 27th September – Stokesley
Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2013 White Horse Sportive. We’ve had some great feedback from all of you, some of which is below. We worked hard to improve the event from 2012, your feedback on the day and since confirm we achieved it.
We’ll be back in 2014, already we are thinking about an increase in the short route distance as many felt the 21.5 miles is a little short. Otherwise we’ll retain the same great formula and hope for the exceptional weather once again!
See you next year.
I rode the long version, and found it: spectacular, exhilarating, magical, beautiful, challenging, rewarding …
What a great route! It was I think one of the most memorable rides I have ever done.
Great day! Well signed, a testing route with some new roads that I’ve never travelled, namely from the top of Boltby Bank, returning to Stokesley…………stunning. The weather wasn’t bad either.
Fantastic day out 10/10. See you next year!!
Great event. Weather helped but very well organised, signposted, gel bars were a real bonus – if I’d known I wouldn’t have taken pocketfuls. Really good buzz to the event.
It was a lovely route – very picturesque and hard on the legs too and all of the riders i spoke to seemed to enjoy it.
