The Monday before the sportive at 6pm, you will receive a ‘Get Ready’ email with all the information and links you need to complete the Pre-Event Questionnaire and Book a Time Slot.
Booking opens from 10am Tuesday until 18:00 Thursday. This is ESSENTIAL to ride.
Please collect rider packs from the HQ on your way to the start line.

Like all the routes the long starts at Rutland Showground. Heading out toward Empingham you will navigate the villages to the north of Rutland water. The route takes in Barleythorpe and Cold Overton as it winds its way to the ‘CiCLE central’ at the village of Owston where the first feed station will be along with a Schwalbe mechanical station. The medium and long spilt from the short at this point and follow the CiCLE Classic course including the pro circuit and passage through Stableford Park. After the second feed at Wymondham the long splits from the medium and heads north toward Belvoir and along past the impressive castle before turning back south. A feed in Buckmister will now lead you to Thisleton and into Oakham then takes in some fantastic roads to the south of Rutland water as you head back to the Showground for your medal, complimentary beer and sausage bun.
Like the CiCLE Classic elite race the CiCLE Tour Sportif features ‘pavé’ (rough terrain) sectors.
Each pavé sector will have mechanical support at the end in case you get into difficulty and each pavé sector is optional and a diversion route will be signed.

The CiCLE Classic goes over the same sectors several times; the CiCLE Tour Sportif will just make one pass of each sector of ‘pavé’.
