To bring you ‘Along the Border’ the Velo29 squad teamed up with local cyclists to get the route just right for you. The route went through several revisions with us ending up at this corker.
The medium route on this new Velo29 sportive is ideal for those who want to step up in distance or go flat out for a fast time.
Have you completed some ‘short’ distance sportives during the summer? This would be your ideal opportunity to push yourself that little bit further.
The route takes in some great scenery, including the picturesque bridge crossing at Farndon. This course is mainly on quiet roads, and with not much elevation means you will have enough in the tank to tackle Hope Mountain before the run-in back to Chester.
